Sean joined North in 2007 and is responsible for cargo claims and internal training in P&I and SMI.

Current Role
Sean has responsibility for internal training in P&I and SMI, and has a leading role in connection with LNG Conditions of Use (CoU) reviews.

External Roles
Sean is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales, and of the Maritime Law Association of South Africa.

Background
Sean, a qualified solicitor since 2001, joined the Club in January 2007. He previously worked for maritime solicitors Mills & Co from 2000, where he specialised in a wide range of shipping matters, including P&I and FD&D related work. Prior to that he worked for South African maritime lawyers Dawson & Associates from 1997 after being admitted as an attorney and obtaining a Masters degree in shipping law in South Africa in 1996. Sean deals primarily with cargo claims and is responsible for internal training in P&I and SMI.
