North P&I Club Appoints James Holmes as Chief Information Officer
North P&I Club has appointed a new Chief Information Officer to drive the business IT strategy and further enhance service delivery.
James Holmes joins the global marine insurer as Chief Information Officer to provide long term strategic direction for the continuing development of North’s IT & digital infrastructure and systems across its worldwide network of offices. Based at North’s headquarters on Newcastle’s Quayside, the new CIO role is an important addition to North’s senior management team.
James joins North from Greggs, the UK’s leading food-on-the go retailer, with over 1,800 shops and 20,000 employees. He led the 5 year transformational programme encompassing, customer service, procurement, learning and development, finance and recruitment which has been implemented across the business. James was with Greggs for 16 years, and prior to that, Cap Gemini, Torex Health and Norwich Union.
