Statement Of Auditor on Ceasing to Hold Office Under Section 519 of The UK Companies Act 2006

Following a competitive tender, the Club is in the process of appointing new auditors. As part of this process the current auditors have formally resigned and provided a statutory statement detailing their reasons for ceasing to hold office.

We enclose a copy of the statutory statement which we are required to send to all Members under the UK Companies Act 2006.

The resignation is part of a managed transition to a new supplier following a competitive tender process and proposals to appoint new auditors will be submitted to Members for approval at the 2022 Annual General Meeting which is due to be held in November 2022. Further information on the proposals will therefore follow later in the year in the notice of the Annual General Meeting.
