Organisational Restructure

ATTENTION INSURANCE DEPARTMENT

As part of the Club’s continuing development and following on from the recent changes to North’s corporate governance arrangements, we have been reviewing the Club’s internal organisational structure to ensure that it remains responsive to Members’ needs and to the development of North both now and in the future.

From today, North has implemented a new organisational structure which is designed to improve operational effectiveness and service through more focused and integrated Member relationship management.

To support our roles as Joint Managing Directors, a Senior Operations Team has been established to deliver the Club’s strategy. This team consists of the CEO of Sunderland Marine, Global Directors and Deputy Global Directors. This team will develop plans for each area of the business, provide oversight and report to the Joint Managing Directors. 

North’s geographical teams have been restructured into five areas: Americas & UK, Middle East & India, Asia Pacific, Europe and Greece, with each area being the joint responsibility of three Group Directors, one from FD&D, one from P&I claims and one from Underwriting. We are committed to enhancing the quality of service the Club provides and wherever possible under the new structure our aim will be to ensure continuity of existing relationships with Members.
