We would like to take this opportunity to remind Members and their brokers about our Global Legal Navigator (GLN) service, which has been updated recently.
GLN is a unique system which features over 80 frequently asked legal questions, answered by qualified lawyers (known as GLN Contributors) from over 60 countries around the world. GLN aims to provide Members with a quick and easy reference point when considering a legal topic in a particular jurisdiction. The questions that are answered range from liens to personal injury, covering a diverse range of countries such as the Azores to well-known shipping jurisdictions such as England, Singapore and China.
Accessed through your North Online subscription, the service has been updated and features several new functions which make it easier for you to navigate around the site and source responses to frequently asked questions. Contact details for the GLN Contributors are also provided. Going forward, North will continue to develop GLN, with the addition of new jurisdictions. As the GLN provides general guidance only, legal advice should always be sought before any action is taken.
