North日本支店が10周年を迎え、成長への指針を発表しました

東京の帝国ホテルで開催されたNorthのレセプションには約150人のゲストにご出席いただきました。Northの日本進出10周年を祝うとともに、2023年2月にNorthとStandardの合併後の発展を予感させるイベントとなりました。

当日は、橋村（日本における代表）をはじめ、メンバー、ブローカー、海事関係者のほか、ポール・ジェニングス（Chef Executive Officer）、サヤ・カシラベル（Chief Underwriting Officer）も出席し、盛大な祝宴が開催されました。

また、Northのメンバーである丸紅株式会社並びにMMSLジャパン株式会社の久富様が乾杯の音頭をとり、Northのサポートとサービスに対して感謝の意を表すとともに、日本におけるNorthのさらなる成功と成長を祈念しました。来賓の一部参考例として、くみあい船舶、アイメックス、伊藤忠商事、乾汽船、飯野海運、MMSLジャパン、丸紅、日本郵船、NYKバルク・プロジェクトをはじめとした各社の方々にご出席いただきました。

ジェニングスとカシラベルは日本におけるNorthのこれまでの功績を振り返るとともに、日本の皆様にNorthStandardを正式に紹介しました。NorthとStandard が合併すれば海運業界において最大の相互保険会社が誕生することとなります。正式なNorthStandard設立は、2023年のP&I保険更改日である2月20日に発効します。

ポール・ジェニングスは、「東京でのイベントは大成功で、これまで10年にわたり日本のチームを支えてくださった多くの方々とお会いする素晴らしい機会となりました」と述べています。また、ジェニングスは「合併により、日本のメンバーに密着したサービスの継続を強調することができました。NorthStandardがもたらす長期安定性、投資、幅広いサービスのポートフォリオ、P&Iにおけるイノベーションがもたらすメリットについて、メンバーと直接対話することができました」とも述べています。
