Alvin joined North in September 2009 and is Director (FD&D) Singapore.

Current Role
Alvin has geographical responsibility for our Asia-Pacific Members.

External Roles
Alvin is a member of the LMAA Supporting Members Liaison Committee (Asia-Pacific).

Background
Alvin studied law at the National University of Singapore prior to being admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore in 2001. Prior to joining North, Alvin worked in the firms of Gurbani & Co and Rajah & Tann LLP practicing a wide range of shipping matters including Admiralty and trade disputes. After leaving Rajah & Tann as a partner in 2008, Alvin briefly joined Assuranceforeningen Skuld's representative office in Singapore before moving to North in 2009.
