We are pleased to announce two new appointments to our board of directors with effect from 1 September 2017. Nick Taylor joins us as an independent non-executive director following his recent retirement as head of the P&I practice at broker Marsh Limited. Philipp Reith of Orion Bulkers GmbH & Co KG also joins us as a non-executive director, representing the interests of our mutual membership alongside the Board’s six existing member representatives.

Capt. Sliwa Michael of Zodiac Maritime Limited has retired from our Members Board and is succeeded by Samuel Gontha, a commercial director/senior executive at Zodiac. Edo Taslaman of Atlantska Plovidba joined the Members Board in May 2017, whilst Waleed Al Dawood retired from the Members Board following completion of the acquisition of UASC by Hapag Lloyd.

James Tyrrell has been appointed as a member of the Group Risk Committee following his appointment to the Board of Directors earlier this year.
