Winning Start to North’s Under 9 Summer Cricket Festivals
North’s Under 9 Summer Cricket Festivals, in partnership with Northumberland Cricket Board, are going from strength–to-strength with the most successful turn out to-date taking place on Sunday 19 June.
The festival, held at South Northumberland Cricket Club, had over 100 players in attendance from teams at South Northumberland, Bates Cottages, Blue Flames, Wylam and Tynedale.
Each team played three games throughout the day, all of which were played at an excellent standard. The festivals are aimed at supporting the delivery of cricket for some of the youngest players in the County.
There have been five festivals so far, with over 350 players attending from around Northumberland. The next festivals are taking place this Sunday (26 June) at Alnwick Cricket Club and Percy Main Cricket Club.
