Haiti – Civil Unrest Affecting Port Operations *Update*

9 October 2019

North has been advised that the situation in the country remains delicate and can change rapidly, riots and civil disorders continue to cause disruptions. Vessel operators should contact ship’s agents or local P&I correspondents for the most up-to-date information on the ports in the country.

Ports remain open but are not running at full capacity and delays are common.

Due to the current situation local correspondents do not recommend conducting crew changes or granting shore leave until further notice.
