With cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continuing to increase rapidly across the UK and elsewhere, the safety and wellbeing of our people is paramount. With this in mind, we have decided that all of our Newcastle and London based teams will work remotely with effect from close of business on Friday 20 March until further notice.
This prudent and precautionary measure is part of our well established and proven business continuity plan. This response will protect the health of our teams and ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible service to Members in the usual way.
All of our teams can be contacted by email and telephone. Our main UK switchboard number, +44 191 232 5221, will operate as normal with calls being diverted to the appropriate team. We are happy to organise virtual meetings as required to ensure that our service continues to support the needs of our Members worldwide. Full contact details for each individual team member can be found on the North website.
The Club’s offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Piraeus, Dublin and New York remain closed with all teams working from home including our Sunderland Marine office in London; Australia and New Zealand currently remain open. Everyone can be contacted via their mobile phones and by email until further notice. Our Shanghai team plan to start to return to work on 23 March, although certain travel and office attendance restrictions will continue to remain in place as a precaution.
Our emergency procedures remain unaltered. In an emergency, please get in touch with your usual contact at the Club via their mobile number and/or email address listed on the ‘Our People’ section of the website (www.nepia.com).
