In accordance with the provisions of Rule 19.4 we hereby give you notice that your Directors have determined in exercise of their powers under Rules 19.3 and 19.3.1 that the Additional Premium Areas shall be amended.
These amendments are quite significant. Some of the existing ports and regions are deleted, others amended and some new ports or regions are added.
This notice is effective 7 days commencing 2400 hours GMT on 24 July 2005 and on the expiry of 7 days thereafter effective from 2400 GMT 31 July 2005, the Additional Premium Areas will be as follows:
Africa Algiers (Algeria).
Djibouti.
Ivory Coast.
Nigeria and Bakassi Peninsula.
Somalia.
Middle East Bahrain.
Iraq.
Israel.
Lebanon.
Qatar.
Saudi Arabia.

Thailand, Southern Gulf Coast of, between and including Songkhla and Narathiwat.
Indonesia / Malaysia
Ambon (Seram).

Borneo, North East Coast of, between and including Kudat and Tarakan.

Malacca Strait and adjacent Ports,

Specific ports, places and coasts should be understood to include harbours, offshore installations, and adjacent waters up to 12 miles offshore unless otherwise agreed.
Notice must be given to the Association before an Entered Ship proceeds into an Additional Premium Area. The Association will endeavour to provide indications of additional premium levels at any time, but quotations will not normally be available until the Entered Ship is within 48 hours of arrival into the Additional Premium Area.
