CREATION OF THE NORTH OF ENGLAND 150 YEARS FUND

As part of the Association's ongoing efforts to develop and implement a Corporate Social Responsibility programme, it has recently been decided that consideration should be given to the North of England marking its 150th anniversary by establishing a charitable Fund.

Traditionally, on occasions such as this, many of the Association's visitors have kindly donated gifts to the Association.  Whilst these generous gestures have always been received with great appreciation, the Directors and Managers believe that the creation of a charitable Fund, which may be utilised to make donations to three deserving charities, would be an excellent way to celebrate the Association's 150th anniversary.  It is currently envisaged that the recipient charities will be the following:

  • Sailors' Society
  • Royal National Lifeboat Institution
  • A local community based charity

Should you wish to make a donation to the North of England 150 Years Fund in lieu of a gift, you can do so by remitting funds to the Association's bank account, the details of which follows below:
