Many Members have sent staff to the Newcastle office for periods of up to two weeks to receive one-to-one training in many aspects of P&I insurance, claims handling and Loss Prevention.
A structured individual, training programme is agreed prior to arrival of the member of staff. The training course is structured from a number of different topics which are made of units. Depending upon the length of each individuals stay we would suggest no more than 2 units per day.
No charge is made for this training although Members are expected to pay for their own travel and accommodation costs.
Personal relationships built up between visitors and Club staff are vitally important - both within and outside of the office. This helps to create a firm foundation for working together in the future based on mutual understanding of each other's organisation.
