The survey department administers the Association's condition survey programme.
Ships aged 12 years or older are usually surveyed on entry to ensure they meet the Association's strict membership requirements and entered ships are surveyed from time to time to ensure that high standards are being maintained.
Survey forms for P&I entries, including instructions to surveyors, have been developed jointly within the International Group of P&I Clubs.
