A comprehensive and secure reinsurance programme is a cornerstone of North’s financial principles.
The Club believes in strong relationships with its reinsurance partners with whom it works to manage underwriting risk. The main feature of the P&I reinsurance is participation in the International Group “Pool” and Excess Loss Reinsurance Programme although the Club also maintains a comprehensive range of policies with minimum 'A' rated reinsurers to manage the exposure not covered by the Group arrangement.
