Maria Laffey
Senior Executive (Claims)Maria graduated from the University of Birmingham with an LLB (Honours) degree. In 1990 she was called to the Bar and following pupillage in chambers in Newcastle, Maria spent several years handling P&I and FD&D claims for the Standard Club. She then joined North of England and specialised in personal injury claims. Maria rejoined the Association in 2008 after a career break to raise her family and is now assisting part-time on personal injury and crew matters.
